Orizon Solar is excited to announce the launch of a $3,000 scholarship aimed at supporting students pursuing majors in business or renewable energy. This scholarship is available to any student enrolled in a qualified institution and majoring in these fields, with the scholarship period lasting for three years. To apply, students must submit a 1,000-word essay on the topic, “Why is solar a great investment for Canadian homeowners?” The scholarship will be awarded annually, with payments made by the first business day of September.

The scholarship not only eases the financial burden of higher education but also encourages students to explore the significant impact of solar energy on Canadian homeowners. By investing in education, Orizon Solar is investing in the future of renewable energy, ensuring that the industry continues to grow and evolve with the help of well-educated, passionate professionals.

To qualify for the Orizon Solar Scholarship, applicants must provide proof of active enrollment in a business or renewable energy program at an accredited institution. The scholarship seeks to empower students who are passionate about contributing to the future of renewable energy and sustainable business practices. Through this initiative, Orizon Solar hopes to inspire the next generation of leaders who will drive the adoption of solar energy in Canada.

Deadline: August 15th Annually, December 15th on 2024.
